Genie-Lock versions

  • How do I know which version will fit my toolbox?

    We have a number of different Genie-Lock versions on the store page. Select the device that corresponds to your toolbox model.

  • Will the Genie-Lock work in toolboxes that aren't mentioned?

    At the moment, Genie-Lock is compatible with Snap-On's Heritage, Masters, Epic and Classic toolboxes. Check back in the future, as more models are coming!

  • How do you fit the Genie-Lock?

    The Genie-Lock is designed to be fitted in 5 minutes, simply by sliding into place and connecting it to a power source. We have fitting instructions available for download on the store page!

  • How do I connect to my Genie-Lock?

    Once fitted, download our app (for IOS and Android devices), and connect to your lock via Bluetooth.


Toolbox compatibility

  • How do I find out which toolbox I have?

    Either see to your user manual, or look on the back of your toolbox and record the markings. The first stylised number or symbol is the year of manufacture. Search for your serial number online to figure out your model.

  • Is there a price difference for certain versions of the Genie-Lock?

    Genie-Lock comes at a fixed price and includes components for the toolbox that you select when ordering from our store.

  • Are the fitting instructions different depending on your toolbox model?

    Yes! You can download all of our fitting guides here.

  • Will fitting the Genie-Lock damage or affect my toolbox?

    Nope! The Genie-Lock is designed to simply slide into place inside the toolbox, with a simple power cable that fits through existing holes in your box. No screwing, no drilling, no nonsense!

  • Do you ship worldwide?

    We offer free shipping on all purchases of our Genie-Lock product, and can ship anywhere in the world. For sales outside of the UK & EU, visit our US/CAN/AUS page.

  • How long will shipping take? (UK)

    Shipping will likely take 2-3 days, but could take 14 days to arrive.

  • How long will shipping take? (EU)

    Shipping will likely be 3-4 days, but could take 2-3 weeks to arrive.


Refunds & returns

  • Do you offer no-hassle refunds?

    If your purchase was made less than 30 days ago and you're not satisfied with your product, you can return the product for a full refund. Get in touch to begin the returns process.

  • Can I return the product after 30 days?

    We only offer a full money-back guarantee to purchases made within the last 30 days. However, if you are unhappy with your purchase please get in touch and we'll offer you any assistance required.

  • What if my Genie-Lock breaks?

    Our Genie-Locks all come with a 4 year warranty. If there is any fault in the product, send it back and we'll send you a replacement. Get in touch to begin the process.

  • I've ordered the wrong model of Genie-Lock!

    Whoops! If this does happen, be sure to drop us a message and we'll work on swapping your model around.

Phone Types

  • Is it compatible with all smart phones

    It has been thoroughly tested with a wide range of current and older phones but we can not test with every device on the market. 

    we have found that some Samsung phones will delete the pairing every 500 connections. if this happens to you then we sugest you get assistance from Samsung using the link Below

  • what phones work best with the Genie-Lock

    We recomend the iPhone, simply because the app is so much better and easier to use and we have been testing with iPhones for over 2 years without any problems
